OhMyKids is an online child development monitoring platform for Malaysian parents and guardians. It provides 27 observation questionnaires across 8 development domains, including special needs screenings such as ADHD, Autism (ASD), and Dyslexia.
OhMyKids is suitable for parents, single parents, guardians, and anyone involved in raising children aged 2 to 25 years — from preschool through university level.
OhMyKids questionnaires are observation instruments developed based on recognised child development frameworks. They are monitoring tools for parents — not clinical psychological tests, not IQ assessments, and not diagnoses. For formal evaluation, please consult a child psychologist, certified counsellor, or specialist doctor.
OhMyKids is in English — including all questionnaires, reports, and AI analysis. The platform is designed for Malaysian families and all content is localised to the Malaysian context (school system, KKM schedule, etc.).
Each questionnaire contains 10 questions and takes around 10–15 minutes. You can answer at any time that suits you.
For children under 13, parents answer based on observation. For teenagers (13 and above), emotional and mental health questionnaires are recommended to be answered by the child themselves, while career questionnaires can be answered together.
Yes. OhMyKids saves all past results so you can track your child's development over time. It is recommended to re-run every 3–6 months.
Special Screenings (the keperluan domain) use an inverted scale because they detect the presence of signs — not achievements. For example, in the ADHD Screening, a high score means more ADHD signs observed. This differs from standard development domains where a high score is positive.
A high score is a signal to seek further evaluation — not a diagnosis. It varies by screening: (1) ADHD — contact a developmental paediatrician or child psychiatrist. Get feedback from the school teacher too, as ADHD needs to be observed in two settings. (2) ASD — contact NASOM (03-4023 3111) or KL Children's Hospital Development Clinic. (3) Dyslexia — contact the school's Resource Teacher or Dyslexia Association Malaysia (DDAM: 03-7728 9007). (4) Bullying — contact the school counsellor today. Crisis: Childline 15999 (24hrs, free).
These questionnaires use the same questions for the 4–25 year age range. Developmental expectations differ significantly between preschoolers and young adults — results should be interpreted in the context of your child's age level. For a more accurate, age-adjusted assessment, especially for children under 7 or teenagers over 16, consider referral to a developmental psychologist.
